Our Story

Mission Bridges was founded to break down barriers and create opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs. In 2016, our founder, CeeCee Evans, recognized the unique challenges faced by many individuals in pursuing entrepreneurship. These challenges included limited access to resources, a lack of guidance, and the need for capacity building.

Mission Bridges is a nonprofit organization established in 2016 with a singular mission: to empower individuals, especially those facing economic and societal challenges, to achieve economic independence through entrepreneurship and job readiness programs. Founded by a determined single mother who herself faced adversity, our organization was born out of the recognition that there was a pressing need for programs that could bridge the gap between underserved communities and economic opportunities.
